Our story.

Welcome to The Brown Hound Public House. Inspired by Guinness and Lennox, the two original brown hounds, as well as creating a cozy neighbourhood spot to grow the British pub culture in Halifax.  

We have expanded to two locations; one nestled in the heart of the North End on Agricola St, the second in the downtown core,  only  a block away from the Halifax waterfront. 

Happy hour is offered daily from 4:30-6:30pm .

We are all dog loving people here at The Hound.
